Venue Details

This year's RIDS Fall Conference will take place at the Downtown Providence Marriott Hotel, One Orms Street, Providence, RI. Complimentary on-site parking and Wi-Fi access will be available for the duration of the event.

Target Audience: Dermatologists and other professional healthcare providers

Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, attendees should be able to:

· Apply current evidence and emerging advances in dermatology to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and management of common and complex dermatologic conditions.

· Evaluate emerging treatment options and incorporate evidence-based approaches into individualized patient care.

· Integrate current knowledge regarding nutrition, environmental exposures, aging, and other influences on skin health into clinical practice

· Implement strategies to improve documentation, coding, reimbursement, and overall quality of dermatologic care

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Criteria and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Rhode Island Hospital and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society. Rhode Island Hospital is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Rhode Island Dermatology Society (RIDS) is pleased to invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual RIDS Journal Club Dinner, taking place on Thursday, February 11, 2027, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This year’s Journal Club will feature six presenters, each delivering a 10-minute presentation highlighting the “Article of the Year” (2026) in their respective subspecialty areas:

General Dermatology
Complex Medical Dermatology
Dermatopathology
Pediatric Dermatology
Surgical Dermatology
Cosmetic Dermatology

The evening will begin with a one-hour networking reception and exhibit session, providing exhibitors an excellent opportunity to engage with dermatologists and other medical professionals in a collegial and focused setting. Following the reception, the academic portion of the event will feature the Journal Club presentations and discussion.
